OnlineToolsVault is a collection of more than 80 single-purpose utilities that run in the browser, split across six categories: a 23-tool PDF suite covering merging, splitting, compression, conversion, protection, and watermarking; image tools from compression and format conversion to background removal and OCR; text tools; developer tools such as code formatters, a regex tester, and a cron parser; security tools for hashing, encryption, and JWT decoding; and file utilities for CSV, JSON, and spreadsheet conversion. One design decision shapes everything else: the work happens on your machine. For most of the tools, delivering the page is the server's entire job; what happens after that stays in the tab. Your browser carries the full engine, so the PDF or photo you hand it is reworked right where it sits — no copy travels out. WebAssembly keeps that fast enough for real jobs. The PDF merger keeps working after you cut the internet connection, and it sets no artificial file limits; your computer's memory is the only ceiling.

It is free in the plain sense: no account system, no sign-up, no paid tier, no usage limits. The site is ad-supported, and the full source code is published for anyone to read.

It exists for whoever shows up with a file problem — office workers wrangling PDFs, designers resizing images, developers formatting JSON or testing a cron expression — and especially for people whose documents are too sensitive to hand to an unknown server.
